CoopCrowd Review – Legit CrowdFunding Biz Op or Big Scam?

Welcome to my CoopCrowd Review!

Has someone already approached you about joining this company, but you aren’t too sure what it’s all about?

Perhaps you’ve been searching for an online business opportunity, but with so many choices it can be hard to know which ones are legit and which ones aren’t.

In my review, I will help answer some of those questions with all the info you need about this company’s background, products, compensation plan, and cost to join.

Let’s dive in!

CoopCrowd Review – The Company

CoopCrowd Review

The CoopCrowd website does not provide any information in regards to who owns or operates the business.

The company’s website domain was registered as (“”) for the first time back in 2011, followed by an update in January 2019.

David Rosen is identified as the owner of the domain.

A little digging and I was able to uncover that CoopCrowd’s domain was for sale in 2018, which likely means that Rosen took over the domain sometime in January 2019.

David T. Rosen first came on the MLM scene in 2015, as founder of PIE 24/7.

Rosen launched Cooperative Crowdfunding in early 2018, which was followed by 50/50 Crowdfunding in late 2018.

It seems that CoopCrowd is the latest reboot of Cooperative Crowdfunding.

CoopCrowd Reviews – The Products

Raise funds in Coopcrowd

CoopCrowd has no retail products or services to purchase or sell.

Affiliates who sign up can only market the CoopCrowd affiliate membership.

The CoopCrowd Compensation Plan

CoopCrowd affiliates are required to make recurring payments, which are donated to other CoopCrowd affiliates.

These payments also qualify the affiliates to receive donations from other CoopCrowd affiliates.

CoopCrowd tracks donations through a 3×10 matrix.

A 3×10 matrix puts an affiliate at the top of a matrix that has 3 positions right under them.

These first 3 positions make up the first level of the matrix and the second level is created by dividing each of these first 3 positions into another 3 positions each, for a total of 9 positions.

Levels 3 to 10 of the matrix are created in the same way, with every new level holding three times as many positions as the level above it.

Matrix positions are filled through direct and indirect sponsorship of CoopCrowd affiliates.

Matrix payments made by affiliates are donated as follows:

  • Payments made on level 1 pay 10%
  • Payments made on levels 2 to 4 pay 5%
  • Payments made on level 5 pay 2.5%
  • Payments made on level 6 pay 5%
  • Payments made on levels 7 and 8 pay 2.5%
  • Payments made on level 9 pay 5%
  • Payments made on level 10 pay 7.5%

Cost to Join CoopCrowd

The cost to join CoopCrowd as an affiliate is the monthly fee payments:

  • $28 every 28 days
  • $84 every 84 days
  • $365 every 365 days

There is also an unspecified admin fee that must be made no matter which payment method is used.

Final Verdict

Okay, let’s get to the final verdict…

The premise of this company is to donate to other affiliates so that you can receive donations from other affiliates.

The only problem with that is the proper definition of donation is to give without expecting to receive.

The only way to receive in this company is to give.

And that is actually called gifting. [1]

There have been so many companies like this one that have already come and gone.

The only people who actually benefit from companies like this one are the admins and higher ups.

Pretty much everyone else will end up losing their investment.

And once recruitment numbers die down, the entire business will collapse.

My advice here is to wait for a better opportunity to come along.
