Crowd1 Review – Legit Investment MLM Business or Another Scam?
Welcome to my Crowd1 Review!
So, you’re thinking about joining an online business, but you don’t know where to start?
With so many new MLM companies popping up daily, it can be hard to know which ones are legit and which ones aren’t.
So, how can you differentiate between the duds and the diamonds in the rough?
Research and read as much as you can about the company!
In my review, I will talk about the company’s background, products, compensation plan, and cost to join, so you can make a more informed decision about whether or not this company is for you.
Let’s get to it!
Crowd1 Review – The Company
The first thing I noticed is that the Crowd1 website does not provide any information about who owns or operates the company.
The Crowd1 website domain was registered for the first time as “crowd1.com” in 2007, and updated in October 2018.
The registration lists Stelios Piskopianos of Crowd1 Network Europe Ltd as the owner, along with an address in Cyprus.
A quick look at Piskopianos’ LinkedIn profile reveals that he has a financial services background.
A commercially aware, hands-on Senior Finance Professional with considerable experience of financial and business control across a broad spectrum including strong IT skills and extensive knowledge of computerised information systems.
Piskopianos also works as Finance Director of AOS Fluency Limited (“business process outsourcing”) and Northfield Petroleum Limited (private equity investment firm).
Strangely enough, Crowd1 is not listed anywhere on Piskopianos’ LinkedIn profile.
Crowd1 Reviews – The Products
Crowd1 does not currently offer any retail products or services.
Affiliates simply market the Crowd1 affiliate membership.
The Crowd1 Compensation Plan
Crowd1 affiliates need to invest funds in order to earn returns.
Returns are tracked and paid through “owner rights” shares.
- White – Invest €99 EUR and receive €100 EUR worth of owner rights shares
- Black – Invest €299 EUR and receive €300 EUR worth of owner rights shares
- Gold – Invest €799 EUR and receive €1000 EUR worth of owner rights shares
- Titanium – Invest €2499 EUR and receive €3500 EUR worth of owner rights shares
Residual commissions are tracked and paid through a binary compensation structure.
A binary compensation structure puts an affiliate at the top of a binary team that divides into and left and right side.
Level one of the binary team holds 2 positions and level two is created by dividing these first 2 positions into another 2 positions each, for a total of 4 positions.
Additional binary team levels are made as needed, with every new level holding twice as many positions as level before it.
Binary team positions are filled through direct and indirect sponsorship of affiliates, with no limit as to how far the team can grow.
Affiliates earn residual commissions based on investment volume accumulated on each side of the binary team.
The company tracks investment volume through points, which match up with Crowd1’s investment tiers:
- White – 90 points
- Black – 270 points
- Gold – 720 points
- Titanium – 2250 points
Using a “1/3 balance” ratio, Crowd1 calculates residual commission.
A 1/3 balance ratio means that residual commissions are paid based on investment volume accumulated on the binary team’s weaker side.
This weaker side volume is matched in triple against the stronger binary team side and once payable volume is counted, affiliates earn 10% of the total volume amount.
Affiliates can earn a Matching Bonus on residual commissions that have been earned by downline affiliates.
The Matching Bonus is tracked and paid through a unilevel compensation structure.
A unilevel compensation structure puts an affiliate at the top of a unilevel team that places every personally sponsored affiliate right under them on level 1.
When level 1 affiliates sponsor new affiliates, they are put on the 2nd level of the original affiliate’s unilevel team.
When level 2 affiliates sponsor new affiliates, they are put on the 3rd level, and this continues on down as many levels as are needed.
Payable Matching Bonus unilevel team levels are capped at five.
The amount of levels a Crowd1 affiliate earns the Matching Bonus on depends on the affiliate’s personal sponsorship efforts:
- Invest at the White tier and sponsor four investors = a 10% match on level 1 (personally sponsored affiliates)
- Invest at the Black tier and sponsor eight investors = a 10% match on levels 1 and 2
- Sponsor twelve investors = a 10% match on levels 1 to 3
- Invest at the Gold tier and sponsor sixteen investors = a 10% match on levels 1 to 4
- Invest at the Titanium tier and sponsor twenty investors = a 10% match on levels 1 to 5
The Streamline Bonus seems to be a way for affiliates to increase owner rights share returns.
The company tracks the Streamline Bonus through company-wide sponsorship.
Once you sign up, everyone who joins after you falls in your Streamline Bonus.
The “streamline levels” correspond with the amount that a Crowd1 affiliate has invested:
- White tier affiliates receive three Streamline levels
- Black tier affiliates receive eight Streamline levels
- Gold tier affiliates receive twelve Streamline levels
- Titanium tier affiliates receive fifteen Streamline levels
Fear of Loss Bonus
The Fear of Loss Bonus is a sponsorship bonus that is active during a newly sponsored Crowd1 affiliate’s first 14 days with the company.
During this bonus time period, a Crowd1 affiliate earns
- €125 EUR per four White investment tier affiliates sponsored
- €375 EUR per four Black investment tier affiliates sponsored
- €1000 EUR per four Gold investment tier affiliates sponsored
- €3000 EUR per four Titanium investment tier affiliates sponsored
When affiliates sponsor others who also invest, they can increase their share of company-wide gambling revenue.
The Gambling residual begins at 5% at the Team Leader rank (accumulate 500 points in weaker binary team volume), and goes up to 10% for the Director (accumulate 500,000 points in weaker binary team volume) and higher ranks.
Cost to Join Crowd1
The cost to join Crowd1 as an affiliate is a €99 to €2499 EUR investment.
- White – €99 EUR
- Black – €299 EUR
- Gold – €799 EUR
- Titanium – €2499 EUR

Verdict on Crowd1
Okay, so now it’s time for a final verdict…
Crowd1 claims it generates external revenue through online gambling, but then goes on to say that they aren’t a gaming or gambling company…
The company says that it introduces its customer base to third party providers who offer licensed gaming opportunities.
Crowd1 fails to mention who these providers are which is a recipe for disaster…
Gaming is a strictly regulated business and the fact that this company seems to be hiding some very important information may be cause for concern.
If Crowd1’s investment opportunity is a securities offering (which it seems to be) then it needs to be registered with the proper financial authorities.
As far as I can tell, they are not registered anywhere and the only real income coming in to the company is from new investment.
And as is the case with so many other companies, this is not a legal business model.
So, my advice here is to hold onto your money for now and keep searching for that diamond in the rough…
