Global Domains International Review – Legit Business or Big Scam?

Welcome to my Global Domains International Review!

There has been a great deal of buzz going around about this company, so I decided to explore the inner workings of this business.

Chances are someone approached you about this business opportunity on social media or in person and now you want to make sure it’s legit, right?

In my blog post I am going to explain the company’s history, products and the compensation plan so you can make the best choice for you.

Let’s get ready to research, research, research!!

Global Domains International Review – The Company

Global Domains International Review

The company, also referred to as GDI, operates in the technology MLM niche.

In year 2000, the company started up in California

On the GDI website, there is a listed address that belongs to a company called Regus.

Now, this makes me want to ask the question of whether or not GDI is even physically present in California.

The co-founders are the ones also heading up the company, with Michael Starr as the operating CEO and Alan Ezeir as the acting President.

Alan Ezeir’s LinkedIn profile mentions that September 2016 was going to be the end of his career at the company.

Then in November 2016, Ezeir was busy founding another company called Circle Square Capital operating within the cryptocurrency MLM niche.

Circle Square targets technology, manufacturing, distribution and service businesses with $3 million to $50 million in annual revenue with cash operating earnings (“EBITDA”) in excess of $1 million.

Michael Starr is assumed to be carrying the business and is still involved with the company.

Before co-founding GDI, the pair Ezeir and Starr also co-founded another company called Freedomstarr Communications:

which currently maintains licenses in most of the United States for certified telecommunications services, and supports thousands of users in each state.

It seems as though this was the pair’s first MLM venture with them as acting executives.

At this time because this company is new to me it didn’t make our Top MLM list yet (See Full Rankings).

Global Domains International Reviews – The Products

The company markets .WS domains, which applies to the region of Western Samoa

The company says they are:

are working in cooperation with the government of Western Samoa as the official registry of the .WS top-level domain.

On the company’s website there is a section called “The Big Trip,” which is an account of a trip from 1999 when the pair of men pitched the concept their business directly to the Prime Minister of Samoa.

With the correct marketing idea behind it, there was no reason why the .WS extension could not be recognized as the major alternative to dot com.

Unfortunately, the pair’s proposal was rejected by the Prime Minister.

That did not discourage Michael Starr because hardly three months or so later he had formed a partnership with the technology company that is Samoan government-owned.

The Nation of Samoa now receives a percentage of all .WS domain sales that GDI generates, and is delighted with our success.

On the company’s website it says;

Our product is an incredible $10 per month package that includes your own domain name, hosting accounts, and up to ten email accounts, plus an easy-to-use online web site builder that will allow you to get a professional looking web site on the web as quickly as possible.

The company does not have any products for retail.

Affiliates who sign up with GDI can only market the affiliate membership.

Global Domains International Compensation Plan

Affiliates who want to participate in the company compensation plan are required to buy the $10 monthly membership.

Affiliates are expected to pay $10 monthly to the company and are paid to sponsor new affiliates who are expected to pay and do the same routine.

The company pays affiliates a commission through a unilevel compensation model.

The unilevel compensation model puts an affiliate on top of a unilevel team, then places new sponsored affiliates directly underneath them on to level 1 of the team.

Level 1 affiliates sponsor new affiliates who are then put onto the 2nd level of the original affiliates’s unilevel team.

Level 2 company affiliates then sponsor new affiliates and these new affiliates are put onto a 3rd level of the unilevel team, and this model continues on and on down a hypothetical never ending amount of levels.

However, the company does put a cap to the payable levels on the unilevel team at 5 levels.

Company affiliates get paid 10% of monthly fees, which is paid by the downstream sponsored affiliates on their unilevel team.

Infinity Override

This override allows a company affiliate to go beyond the first 5 levels of their unilevel team and still be able to earn a bonus.

It is a 10% commission bonus that is paid on Level 6 and any other levels in the downstream of the each unilevel leg of the team.

This commission is paid out on each leg of the unilevel, until another qualified affiliate is found in that leg to start earning the Infinity Override commission.

And if there is no existing affiliate to fill this spot, the Infinity Overrride is paid down the entire depth of the leg of the team.

To meet the qualification for the Override commission, a company affiliate must have 10 (or more) active personally sponsored affiliates and have a total downstream at a minimum of 5000 active company affiliates.

Affiliates who are continuously paying the $10 monthly membership fee are considered to be an active affiliate.

Recruitment Bonus

There is a $100 Sponsorship Bonus affiliates can earn if they sponsor 5 new affiliates within one week.

Heavy Hitter Bonus

There is a $5000 Heavy Hitter Bonus to earn if an affiliate sponsors 1000 (or more) new affiliates in a 4-week consecutive time period.

Cost To Join Global Domains International

The cost to join Global Domains International as an affiliate is the company membership which goes for $10 a month.

Verdict on Global Domains International

Overall Global Domains International is borderline for me personally…

I know there are other Global Domains International reviews out there calling it a full scam, but I just feel that the owner(s) wouldn’t want to ruin their reputation because they have built successful companies in the past.

Also note that the company has technically been around since 2000 and that’s a VERY long time.

I am personally not involved, but I don’t really see an issue here…
